Join the Canyon Poets on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 8 PM EDT when we feature Veronica Kornberg.

A poet of the San Francisco Bay Area, Veronica Kornberg has received the Wandering Aengus Book Award in Poetry and the Morton Marcus Poetry Prize. She is a Peer Reviewer for Whale Road Review, and co-founded a long-running poetry book club on the SF Peninsula. Veronica's poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Alaska Quarterly Review, New Ohio Review, Poet Lore, Calyx, and Plume. Veronica splits her time between Portola Valley and Pescadero, a small town on the Central Coast, where she is restoring the land to its native habitat of coastal scrub. Her debut collection, Strange Gift, was published in April 2026.
