About the Event
You’re Invited: Poetry & Performance at “Mother Memory” — August 22, 2025
I’m honored to be reading at Mother Memory, a powerful art exhibit and multidisciplinary event exploring the complexities of memory, motherhood, and legacy. Curated by the brilliant Toti O’Brien, Mother Memory features work from nine visual artists and a lineup of poets and performers whose work speaks to generational ties, ancestral echoes, and the fragile beauty of remembering.
This special poetry and performance night will take place on Friday, August 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Wonzimer in Lincoln Heights (Los Angeles). The event is part of a month-long exhibit that runs from August 15 to September 12, and a companion essay series published by Oyster River Pages.
